12 people killed during nightclub police raid

The capital’s police chief said hundreds of youths marking the end of the school year had panicked when police raided the News Divine club.

He said there had been a stampede by customers trying to escape. Three police officers were among the dead.

Police said they had been investigating reports that drugs and alcohol were being sold to under-age clubbers. BBC

  3. This is really sad and my heart goes out to the families of those victims. I’m not sure if this would have helped in this case, but i’ve seen a lot of clubs using this system to prevent crime and violence http://www.club-watch.com. Hopefully some clubs here in NM will join the program too.
